Japan 2017

Japan has one of the least diverse populations in the world with almost no foreigners, but this isolation allows the country to keep a very unique culture and atmosphere. In stark contrast to the “racial” homogeneity, food and nature are of overwhelming diversity. This time in Japan was special for two reasons: It was my second time on Okinawa, which is very different from Japan’s four “main” islands; and I spent New Year in Japan, which was also a very special experience.
