Originally I had wanted to go to Colombia instead, but the flight to Peru was cheaper, so I went there. My image was that Peru is basically grey stone desserts, but boy was I wrong! The diversity of flora and fauna is unmatched, people are super friendly, the silence of the wide openness of grasslands and mountains leaves you speechless and the food is unmatched across the whole continent! If I had to choose a country in Latin America where I’d want to live in the future, it would be Peru.
